(English translation: Sakai, Takahiko)
(English cosultation: Frances Ford)
There is a famous line in Antoine de
Saint-Exupery's "The Little Prince"―"It is only with the heart that on ecan
see rightly: What is essential is invisible to the eye." This might have been
written by SAKAMURA Shimmin, KANEKO Misuzu, and AIDA
Mitsuo.
The
root is God as well as Buddha in the service of supporting all of
us concealing Himself behind the curtain. Let's have an insight into the
unseen
world.

When You Stare at a Tree
When you
stare at a tree, you will realize what God or Buddha is all about. Under
the ground unseen to us, the root has made the trunk (grown)
[grow], the leaves come out, the blossoms come into bloom, and the
fruit [is] borne. The root is God as well as Buddha in the service of
supporting all of us concealing Himself behind the curtain. Let's have an
insight into the unseen world, and let's have mind to recognize what we
cannot see with our eyes.

Now you understand there exists here and
there what you cannot see at the
moment.

Stars and
Dandelion
Deep in (a) [⇒the] blue sky, like small pebbles deep in the
sea, the stars in the daytime stay, (sinking) [⇒hiding] themselves till
the night comes. You cannot see them in the daytime. (Even if )

exists here and there what you cannot see (right now) [⇒at the

Dandelions, withered away and scattered, stay in the
cracks of a roof tile, silently, concealing themselves till the spring
comes. You cannot see their strong roots. (Even if) [⇒Although] you
cannot see them, they are there.] Now you understand there exists here
and there what you cannot see (right now) [⇒at the
