Carp Streamer in the Air
Carp in the pond!
Why do you (make a splash) [⇒splash so]?
Yes, I know the carp streamers
are floating in the air.
Do you want to become that big one?
But you know those big ones
are in use today only;
tomorrow they’ll be lowered and (for storage) [⇒stored away].
So, don’t (have a vain hope) [⇒hope in vain]
but splash, jump up, and look back down!
You can see, on the bottom of your pond,
a cloud-mottled sky reflected.
Now you can float above the clouds there:
You are now like a carp streamer in the air,
you know.

Sunflowers
They are wheels, golden and beautiful,
of wagon for the sun.
When they moved in a blue sky
the sound of gold reverberated.
When moving through white clouds
they saw, ahead of them, a tiny star in black.
In order not to run over the star,
never (recognized) [⇒seen] before by anybody, on earth or in
heaven,
they made a sudden turn.
Then the sun was hurled out of the wagon,
which caused him to (get turned) [⇒turn] red
with rage in the face.
The wheels, golden and beautiful, of the wagon
were thrown away down to (here削除) below far away,
long, long ago.
Still now on earth,
they follow the sun with love and respect.

The Sky, Deep in the Night
When people and plants sleep
creations in the sky are quite busy.
Each one of the stars (in the削除) twinkle,
with a sweet dream on his back,
flits around in the sky
to hand (over削除) the dream [over挿入] to anyone (on) [⇒in] his
or her
bed,
While Princess Dewdrop, before daybreak,
hurries up [in挿入] a silver carriage (of hers削除)
to hand over her dewdrops
to any flowers on the balconies throughout town
as well as to any lower leaves,
to the last one without exception,
in the depths of the hill.
When flowers and children sleep
creations in the sky are quite busy.
