On the outskirts of town,
the horizon clears,
green appears and then so do the floodlights,
drawing visitors into the vast car parks.
All in all, a very continental Europe feel about the place,
and then a Liverpool touch
when the Reysol fans unfurl a huge banner
reading "You'll never walk alone."

町並みをはずれたところへ出ると、
地平線もよく見えるし
田畑や樹々の光景も目に入ってくる。
さらに進むと今度は
サッカー場の投光塔がいくつも見えてくる。
これに誘われつつさらに進むと
観客はここのなんとも広い駐車場に入り込む。
このあたりにはなんとなく
ヨーロッパの大陸風の雰囲気が色濃く漂っている。
でも、つづいて目に入るのは
（ヨーロッパ大陸風とは違う）
あのサッカー熱狂都市の英国リパプール風のやり口だ。
柏レイソルのファンらが翻すとてつもなく大きな横断幕がゆれている。
それにはこう書いてある:
「俺達がついているぞ。」

I'm not sure of the roots of the expression "You'll
never walk alone"
but it's used often in songs or speeches.
Usually the meaning is that
if you are a good person
you will always have good friends and never be alone.
In the case of sports fans
it most likely means
that the fans will support the team no matter what.
The 'walk alone' is really symbolic
for 'be alone' or 'be without friends/support/good company'.

この歌は、フットボールクラブとそれを愛するサポーターの心情に見事にマッチして、
日本のFC東京のサポーターソングとなっています。
イングランドのリバプールFCおよびスコットランドのセルティック・グラスゴーのサポーターソングでもあるそうです。

この歌は
オスカー・ハマースタイン2世、リチャード・ロジャースの黄金コンビによる作品で、
ブロードウェイ・ミュージカル『回転木馬Carousel』のなかで歌われ、
その後、多くの歌い手によって歌い継がれてきています。
劇中での主人公のセリフ：
