　「君死にたまふことなかれ」は、1905年の歌集に収められています。日露戦争(1904-1905)に出征して、旅順攻撃に参加していた弟への思いを歌ったものです。

平和を祈る
「念ずれば花ひらく
　Pray, and any flower of yours will come out.」の第303番碑は、小原靖夫さんが1994年、エルサレムのヘブライ大学に、建立[献碑]されたものです。その裏面に埋め込まれている英文メッセージをご紹介します：

For Promoting the Ties of Friendship between Israel and Japan　（March 31, 1994）

The whole of humankind has aspired for peace since time immemorial.
Rev. Shinmin Sakamura, a Japanese Buddhist poet, has been praying for worldwide peace every day before dawn for the past two decades.

We esteem it a great honor to erect this monument as a symbol of our earnest desire that an everlasting peace
be upon Israel, the spiritual center of the earth, whence peace and truth shall prevail all over the world.

●　第657番碑は「奄美の碑」

「詩国の朴（第182号, 2003.1.1. 全国朴の会（会長は片山克様））」によりますと、第657番碑は「奄美の碑」です。
2月15-16日の間に行われるこの碑の序幕入魂式は、町をあげての式典となり、真民先生も町長さんもご参加になります。
