Lotuses and Chicks
Lotuses come into blossom
out of mud;
What they are now
has not been done (by themselves) [⇒alone].
[OR They have not become by themselves]
Chicks come into the world
out of eggs;
What they are now
has not been done alone.
Now I have realized what we are now
has not been done alone;
And the enlightenment like this
has not been done alone, either.

Moonrise
Hush!
Be quite!
Now, look!
The moon is about to appear.
You see
the sky there,
along the mountain skyline,
is being slightly brightened.
High in the center of the sky
and
deep in the bottom of the sea as well
something
is glistening
in fusion.

The Roots of a Rose Tree
The rose that came into bloom (for削除) the first year
was a large red flower;
Under the ground
the roots of the rose tree were (rejoiced) [⇒rejoicing],
saying, "I'm happy and pleasant."
(In the) [⇒The] second year there came into bloom three of
them,
again, large and red;
Under the ground
the roots of the rose tree fairly rejoicing,
saying, "I'm happy to feel them, again, come out in bloom."
(In the) [⇒The] third year there came into bloom seven of
them,
(over again) [⇒once again], large and red;
Under the ground
